Gatwick Airport Parking Facilities
In its capacity as one of the world’s busiest airports, Gatwick airport parking can be expected to be as busy as the airport itself. ou likely think that parking at Gatwick is as difficult as getting an FA Cup Final ticket and that you must get there five hours prior to your flight just to find a space! Well no! You are wrong: in fact, you can reserve your space in advance, enabling you to leave home and reach the airport at a more convenient time for you without the need to worry about fighting for a pre-flight parking space. Gatwick airport also provides an optional Meet-and-Greet service, where you are greeted by a driver when you reach the terminal, who will then help carry your baggage before driving your car to a reserved car parking area. Naturally, this service costs more than a regular parking slot, but for many for whom time is valuable, it is well worth the cost.
When you return you will find your driver waiting for you outside the terminal to take your luggage and escort you to your car. This service is offered by many other airports, and the Meet and Greet service offered by Gatwick is one of the better examples, particularly if you have elderly or very young passengers with you. In such cases you need help, and those that provide that help are complete angels at times. If you are going to be away for an extended period, however, the regular Gatwick Airport Long Stay car parking facility is excellent.
